The daily attire for the Middleman. As revealed in "The Obsolescent Cryogenic Meltdown", Middlemen and Middle-trainees may choose their own uniforms, based purely on personal preference, though all modern uniforms shown in the series share the following elements:
- White Shirt or Blouse
- Black Tie
- Black Pants
- Black Leather belt (Holster Optional)
- Black Socks
- Black Dress Shoes or Black Boots
The 1969 Middleman wore a dark green suit jacket. He carried his firearm in a shoulder holster, rather than at his hip.
The current Middleman wears a dark green Eisenhower jacket. He chose this because, in his words, "it's named after a man who led soldiers through harsh times against the darkest of evils" (Eisenhower directed the European theater of World War II). He felt the jacket said something about him, and the man he chose to be. The Middleman also wears his Middle-Gun in a holster at his right hip.
Raveena Rao wore a uniform identical to her protege, and, aside from his personal respect for Eisenhower, the Middleman also chose his uniform to honor her.
Wendy Watson wore an identical version of the current Middleman's uniform (with high-heeled black boots) until the end of "The Obsolescent Cryogenic Meltdown", when the Middleman permitted her to design her own uniform. She kept a similar style in homage to her boss, but opted to wear her blouse with an open neck, her tie loosened, and traded her jacket for a green vest. Like her boss, Wendy carried her Middle-Gun in a hip holster.
In the Mirror Universe, after becoming the Middleman's sidekick, mirror Lacey adopted a uniform of black short shorts, knee-high black leather boots, a white short-sleeve blouse, and a green vest, along with the Middle-Gun at her right hip.
Farther back in history, Middle-Clothes took on a variety of appearances, many based on practicality of the time (Caveman Middleman wore an animal pelt, Roman and Medieval Middleman wore armor, etc.). However, Victorian Middleman's uniform was similar to the more modern variations.
