Ben Stanley is Wendy's most recent ex-boyfriend. He is a young film student who broke up with Wendy on camera for what he called a "class project." He later put the film on Myfaceinatube.com, which was a major success. After that the Winestock Company signed him on to write and direct a new film based on the breakup video.
Wendy's mother, Lacey, and even the Middleman have all questioned Ben's sexuality. Wendy's mother and Lacey both believe Ben to be gay, and the Middleman describes him as "a sexually ambiguous doorknob".
